Your Choice

sent down to us all by God above
it affects our lives, personality, and behavior
to know our sins our forgiven by Christ our savior
we all are sinners and we always will be
but Jesus gave his life so we could all be free
He died unselfishly nailed to a cross
at the hands of men who cared little of the loss
He shouted out to his Father whom no one could see
MY GOD MY GOD WHY HAST THOU FORSAKEN ME?
the men taunted, ridiculed, and laughed in his face
as Jesus was lifted into an angel's embrace
but He didn't let death interfere with His chore
He did something that had never been done before
He rose from his grave and began again
to cleanse all our souls from ungodly sins
so in case you havent figured it out
He is God's son so have you no doubt
if you just take Jesus into your heart
on the path to Heaven, it's a wonderful start
you must know the difference between right and wrong
with the Lord Jesus is where we belong
it's never to late or too soon to tell
