I agree with your thoughts.

       My pastor also says that "the word of God sustains us, while the Spirit of God empowers us." He also quotes a verse all the time out of psalms that says that God has exalted His Word above His name. It is found this way best in the Kjv .(sorry, I don't know where)

       Also I've been learning in a deeper way that we not only need grace to go to heaven, but to live the Christian life. That is the Spirit filled life. Moment by moment totally dependent on God's grace in every way.

      We are to "grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ".

      I believe that God's grace is so far beyond what we are able to comprehend, and we grow to understand it and live in it over time , as we feed on His Word and live in His presence.

     This is the one area that I notice satan working on the most- to throw us off in our thinking. Jesus warns us to beware of the yeast of the Pharisees.

Anyways, we could go on for hours about this!!
